Daniel Murrell, MD

Biography

Dr. Daniel Murrell joined the group in 2021 as the new chronic wound management physician. He graduated from Clemson University, specializing in microbiology and a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center School of Medicine class of 2014. Completing residency with the University of Illinois in Chicago and an infectious disease fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, he has returned to Memphis to expand on modalities for healing diabetic foot wounds, chronic venous ulcers, and infectious osteomyelitis, among others.

Married to Lena and father of three, Dr. Murrell enjoys reading, baking, and enjoying his daughter and two sons.
