Lisa Myers, MD

Biography

A native of Los Angeles; California; Dr. Myers attended the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) for her undergraduate education. She then moved to Memphis; Tennessee; to attend medical school; graduating from the University of Tennessee in 1989. Later; she began her residency in internal medicine at Methodist University Hospital; where she was chief resident. Dr. Myers then completed her fellowship in endocrinology; metabolism; and diabetes at Louisiana State University in Shreveport; Louisiana.

In addition to her private practice; she is a part of the clinical faculty at the University of Tennessee’s College of Medicine. She has a special interest in treating diabetes.
