Carol Mattison, DNP

Biography

Dr. Carol Mattison joined the Threlkeld Infectious Disease team in 2021 after graduating from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in May 2020 with a Doctor of Nursing Practice. She is a Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She has over 20 years of critical care nursing experience, first obtaining a nursing diploma from Methodist School of Nursing (Memphis) in 1998 and then her BSN from the University of North Alabama in 2014. She has been CCRN certified since 2005 and is active in the local chapter of AACN, a professional nursing organization. Carol enjoys reading, long walks, and cookouts with friends and family.
