Biography

Dr. Chiemeziem Nwanyanwu joined Threlkeld Infectious Disease in 2020 from Maimonides Medical Center in New York. She graduated from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nnewi, Nigeria, as one of the top ten students in her class with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). She completed her internal medicine residency and also her Infectious disease fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York, and was board certified in infectious disease in 2020.

She is married to Chiemezie, and a mother of two. Dr. Chiemeziem loves traveling, reading, meeting people, and spending time with her immediate family, large extended family, and friends.
